More than 50 Nordic actuaries are to join Profit Software for a banquet in Cape Town, South Africa on the sidelines of the International Congress of Actuaries 2010.
Invitees to the banquet,
held at celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay’s Restaurant Maze, are primarily from the Nordic
life and pension sector; a market where Profit Software is increasingly
focusing its efforts.
“Profit Software is extremely
pleased to be able to bring so many Nordic actuary counterparts together here in
Cape Town, in recognition of the great respect we have for the actuarial
function and community,” said the company’s in-house actuary Jari Niittuinperä, recently
elected to the board of the Actuarial Society of Finland. “Advanced
mathematics really is the cornerstone of Profit Software’s success, with our mathematical
engine driven by some of the industry's most advanced support for retroactive calculations.”
This year’s
International Congress of Actuaries (ICA
2010), which takes place in Cape Town from 7 – 12 March, has drawn more
than 1500 insurance representatives from over 100 countries.
