Profit Software at banking and insurance event in Finland

Company demonstrates how providers of insurance services and long-term savings agreements can derive product development and cost benefits from a modern IT strategy.

The two-day “VaikuttajaForum†event drew more than 120 delegates from the Finnish financial community, including representatives from Profit Software customers such as Mandatum Life, OP-Pohjola, Aktia, Fennia and Tapiola.

Profit Software’s focus during the event was on demonstrating how it can help insurers make the gradual change from a legacy system to a modern, web-based solution. Profit Software’s position is that if insurers are to enjoy the full benefit of more modern technology, then they should first look at changing certain existing business processes. Once these business processes have been streamlined, the insurer is in a better position to introduce more modern technology for an existing business line.

Profit Software also highlighted the benefits of its claims management solution, with a particular focus on its benefit for providers of long-term savings agreements. Profit Software’s Claims Manager module features configurable claims handling rules and taxation tools that enable fast adaptation to changes in the operational environment.

Profit Software’s next public appearance will be in Poland at Sopot Summer Insurance Days from June 14-15.
